We arrived as the market was packing up and it was very busy, later on was much quieter with several of the restaurants closed for dinner. Artà is quite small, one Main Street with shops, cafes and restaurants but very nice to visit for a couple of days.

The location is the best part about this place- Sopra the mountains, peaceful apart from the sounds of birds and other animals around. We stayed Per a analisi with stone walls and old fashioned furniture. The bedding was soft and comfortable.

Artà is just a nice village to wander around, with a mescolanza of tree-lined avenues and small winding alleys. The best day to visit is on Tuesdays when the town comes to life with its local market.
